SXSW 2005
This year at SXSW, I took hundreds of photos. Literally, probably 150 a day, and I was there for four days. So, I have many photos to process (digitally) and then text to write, lists to make, laundry that has to be done, cds to listen to - you know, it's damn hard being DJ Wanda!
In any case, please be patient and check back often. The plan is to put most of the stuff up over at Barflies.net and then to put a few more extended photo essays up over here for those die-hard fans of alt. country music.
In the photo above, Doyle Lawson and participates in a panel called "What Can We Learn from Bluegrass?" What indeed? You'll get my comments on the issue soon!

It's Howdylicious!
The nice folks at KUCI 88.9fm do profiles on special shows for the website and they did a profile on li'l ol' me! I'm practially blushing (which you can't see in the photo). Duncan said very nice things about me, and some of them are even true. You figure out which ones...
